elderly bathing

recently I have been shopping with my grandma. looking for suitable facilities that make bathing easier for her. when you're young and able, you don't really think about the little things that we all take for granted. like being able to get in and out of the bath safely, being able to turn the taps on and off, or having enough space to get in and out of the shower. there are so many things to think about!

so i put together a selection of elements i thought would be practical and pretty for my grandma's new bathroom. and put them all together in a moodboard on mydeco. take a look... x

i found this video on youtube today. made by wallpaper magazine... i have never seen anything like it, but it's fascinating. i want to go and see it for myself.

fifth post

i entered my moodboard into a mydeco.com competition a few days ago... and so far, i'm winning!!
I can't believe it. there's a long way left to go, but i'm so happy to have my mood board posted on the main competitions website. take a look at this... (i'm so happy, i took a screen grab of it)

i was having a browse on mydeco.com again today. going through the items they have in their shop. and i found this. i fell in love. trouble is, i dont have any wall space at the moment. this will be the first thing i buy when i move into my new place.

third post

yesterday I was being a good girl, getting lots of my interior design coursework done, ready for going back to "school" today. my most recent assignment was to create "mood boards" that fit the brief I have for my living room revamp. i spent hours trawling through magazines and catalogues (which I LOVE), cutting out all kinds of bits and bobs which would go well in my new room. *I will post photos of my mood boards when I have got them back from marking*

but I also spent aaaaages playing around on the new feature they have on mydeco.com. there, I was also creating mood boards, and even submitted one for a competition. (take a look and vote here ) and maybe sign up for a profile and have fiddle around yourself!! - see my link in my links list on the right hand column.

so yes, been a busy couple of days...

A website and shop dedicated to all things handmade.
It's a crafty little place that brings creative people together
to sell their unique works of art.
